Supportive housing program fees are 30% of adjusted net income (income less bills and savings values) not to exceed a maximum value. There are no program fees associated with the Search and Rescue program.

Description

NVHS's mission is to “Eliminate Homelessness Among Veterans in Central Florida”. They assist homeless and at-risk of homelessness veterans and their families throughout Brevard County either get into or stay housed through 2 primary programs: Search and Rescue and Supportive Housing. Assistance is delivered through the programs by: Street level outreach to locate, provide basic needs, and place homeless veterans into housing and off the streets; Securing or providing funding for immediately at-risk of homelessness veteran families to pay overdue housing debts to keep them housed; Operating Supportive Housing facilities for homeless veterans with capacity to house 17 clients at one time.
