Applications are available online at www.floridakidcare.org or by calling the toll-free number at 1-888-540-KIDS (5437).
The plan will cover services with an in-network provider. Some health care services may require a small additional fee called a copay. When required, copays are never more than $10.
Florida
The Medicaid program, administered by the Department of Children and Families, is designed for low-income families. It is available to children from birth until the 19th birthday.
Florida Kidcare
Provides four income-based state health insurance programs for Florida children from birth until the 19th birthday. The programs are Medicaid, MediKids, Florida Healthy Kids and the Children’s Medical Services (CMS) Health Plans.
