ACCESS Florida provides eligibility screening and determination for Food Stamps, Medicaid, Temporary Cash Assistance. More eligibility info at: http://www.dcf.state.fl.us/ess/ Food Stamps are made available for income-qualified households to help them buy nutritious food. The Temporary Cash Assistance program provides cash assistance to families with children under the age of 18 (or 19 if full-time secondary school students) that meet the technical, income & asset requirements. Medicaid is program that provides medical coverage to low income individuals and families. DCF determines Medicaid eligibility for low income families w/ children, children only, pregnant women, non-citizens with medical emergencies & aged/disabled individuals not currently receiving SSI.
