Meals on Wheels allows senior adults to remain living on their own even when they are no longer able to prepare hot, nutritional meals. Trained volunteers visit each weekday around noon, providing Brevard seniors with a hot meal, a friendly visit, and safety check. They can refer participants to additional services and can even initiate an emergency response if necessary.

Provides individual, family, and couples counseling, including EMDR and other consultation services. Offers play therapy, expressive arts, adoption home studies, post-placement supervision, and support.

CITA Rescue Mission offers a Biblical-based program requiring a commitment of at least 10 months. CITA’s program offers help with addictions, life skills, and more. There is limited handicapped accessibility in a dormitory-style residence with bunk beds for up to 50 men.

Matches a mentor with a child or groups of up to three siblings. Includes a complete Intake Goal Checklist to identify deficits or needs. Provides home- or community-based instruction in health, personal development, social development, life skills, and positive recreational activities. Activities include playing at local community centers and parks to build peer relationships, introducing new sports, fishing, and reading together.
